Volume 3 of South Park is probably the best collection taken from the first season. The disk has 5 episodes (rather than the usual 4) including the end of season "cliff-hanger" imaginatively titled "Cartman's mum is a dirty ....!".

On first viewing the humour seems base and immature, but it is actually far subtler than it initially seems. As an example, look at "Mr Hankey, the Christmas Poo" which is a wry look at the way 'Political Correctness' can go way to far, eventually destroying the essence of humanity and society.

I highly recommend this collection to anyone who has a sense of humour, and a firm grip on reality. If you have any doubt about just how clever South Park can be, watch these, if you are offended in any way while viewing them, the you are truly missing the point (or perhaps I am :)

P.S. It seems that "Chef" is a fan of funk band, The Time.
