One of the best no holds barred videos I have seen. AFC1 features 32 fighters, split into two brackets of 16 men each. The winner of each bracket goes into the final to fight it out for a purse of $50,000! Featuring the brazilian giant, Ricardo Moraes, and his compatriot, Adilson Lima, both trained by the legendary NHB veteran Rickson Gracie. Also on the card is Tra Telligman, who trains under former WWF star and UFC champion Ken Shamrock, and the NHB worlds brightest new star, Igor 'The Russian Machine' Vovchanchin. Fights are fast and furious, with the men soon seperated from the boys. Blood, guts and glory are an integral part of the action, and this is not for the squeamish! Camera work and commentary are superb, with slow motion replays and close-ups ensuring that the viewer isn't left confused as to what actually happened. This tape contains 16 fights, taking each bracket down to 8 men. These fighters then go on to fight it out for the title in the second video, The Absolute Fighting Championship 1 - The Tournament. An excellent buy, and a good way into the exciting world of no holds barred.
