5.0 out of 5 stars A splendid Frasier prequel!, 14 Feb 2002
For all Frasier fans just looking to see what they actually do remember of the receding shrink from his Boston bar days, this is truly the best purchase you could possibly make. Picking out four classic Frasier-at-Cheers episodes from the definitive slice of New England life, this covers an enormous stretch of time, beginning with a snapshot of Dr Crane's relationship with the dreadful Diane (who hasn't aged at all well, if the opening episode of the current season is anything to go by...), and continuing through the wonderful opening of his relationship with Lilith, her pregnancy (truly, she is the bringer of life...), and taking us up to the time when Sam has to babysit young Frederick as Frasier embarks on a doomed date with his secretary.

Oh, just buy it. You know you'll watch it time and again.

5.0 out of 5 stars a classic, 3 Jan 2004
cheers is without a doubt the finest americain comedy of all time and this video certainly does it justice. the tape consists of four superb episodes taken from the series that focuss on the character dr. fraizer crane. a phone in phycologist who spends most of his time at cheers with the staff sam, dianne(episodes 1 and 2)rebecca (episodes 3 and 4)carla,coach (episode 1) woody (episodes 2-4) and its other regulers cliff, and norm who spend more time at cheers than at home. these characters truly make cheers what it is (a classic)

episodes include:
the heart is a lonely snipehunter (episode 58,1985)

abnormal psychology (episode 102,1986)

the cranemakers (episode 163,1989)
