5.0 out of 5 stars Christmassy, but perfect at any time of year., 26 Nov 2000

A Merry Heatwave sees our trio in the middle of a boiling summer heatwave. Nora Batty's brother in Australia just wants to see one more english christmas, and Foggy hits upon the idea of using his cine camera to film one for him with hilarious results!

In The Bandit from Stoke-on-Trent an old friend, Amos, is back in town. Foggy feels a little left out and more than a bit suspicious of the former criminals motives. Foggy feels that it is up to him to preserve law and order...

Small Tune on a Penny Wassail. It's Christmas and all Compo wants is a skateboard as a present. Fed up of waiting to open his presents Compo goes outside and meets a lad who has just got a skateboard...

This video can be watched again and again and it just gets better each time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Last of the summer wine, 26 Jul 2009
These three guys have pleased me for days on end, I have seen many of the DVDs and some VHS tapes about how they spend the days in this little English town and the adventures they have, always make me laugh. My advice is see for yourself, but take note I have only seen the stories with Bill Owen, Peter Sallis and Brian Wilde, as I find they make up a funny team of grumpy old men. They always end with a surprising stunt, that sometimes is hilarious.
