I thought this video was just wonderful. I've been a Cilla fan since age 12, (now 44) and to see her on screen again was like meeting up with an old friend.

We don't get any Cilla shows out here, haven't for many years, and I haven't seen her in concert since 1981. It was so lovely to see that 'Cilla humour' again. The contestants were just so funny, It's a video I've watched time and time again, and never tire of it.

I would love to see a video of Cilla singing released, too.

In the meantime, it was just great to enjoy that personality that is 'Cilla' again.

I do think this is such a great video, recalling on all the highlights of Cilla Black's classic dating show from 1985-1997 and, just for the record for any immigrant who has heard of Blind Date and wants to see it, I'm sad to tell you that it did run for a very long time but it stopped nearly four years ago - sorry!
I got this video when I was 13 and maybe if I hadn't watched it quite so much, maybe I wouldn't have gotten so bored of it. I don't watch that video very often these days for that same reason but I think I should do at some point because I've left it quite some time now and I shouldn't miss out! Neither should you, if you're a fan of Saturday Night TV.

I just Cilla Black! My Saturday night was pre-planned during the week as I just couldn't miss Cilla!

It would be wonderful if they'd release a Surprise! Surprise! DVD, another great programme during the late 90s!
