1.0 out of 5 stars Penn and Teller Phobia, 11 Jun 2004
After reading the review, I decided to give it a go having fond memories from when they were on telly. I couldn't have been more disappointed. There are funny sketches with no humour and throughout, some poor bloke is forced to crawl through a plastic tunnel. Oh how I laughed. Not at all.
The magic content is very low, replaced by gross-out, blood-soaked so called humour.
Penn and Teller are very talented magicians but here they cop out to entertainment and the results are unpleasant.

4.0 out of 5 stars close but no 5 stars, 3 Jul 2002
By Eve (stoke on trent, staffs United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
OK I'm a fan ever since they did the Channel 4 shows way back. Very slick very clever.
Its hard to review since I don't want to give to much away. But like it says they explore common fears by various tricks and skits.
This is not the best of their work but since beggers can't be choosers get it while you can, it will however give you a taste of their style and prompt up to seek out their other works.

I recently got to see them on a trip to Vegas and it was well worth it.

Remember its only a trick!!
