I'm usually a fan of Patrick Moore. His presentation on astronomy (e.g. in the 'Sky at Night' programmes) is usually superb. However, this rambling and perfunctory nonsense is scarcely worthy of the great man. It jumps from the basics ("here is a telescope, look, haven't I got a big one folks") to a series of meaningless grainy images of what you might expect in the night sky. It fails on the basic level: it doesn't *inspire* you to go out and look for yourself. Avoid.
