As a windmill enthusiast for more than 40 years, this video came to me as a previously unknown item. It's content covers the history of these fascinating industrial mechanical gems in a clear and detailed fashion. Many of the facts might seem diverse but give a great insight into the skills and ingenuity of the millers, millwrights and the enthusiasts who now work to restore this part of our heritage. I have lectured on the subject for many years and still learnt something! My only grumble is that the tape has a number of editing 'glitches' particularly with the soundtrack. I can thoroughly recommend the video to ANYONE even if you think the subject might be boring. Prepare to be impressed!
