I have been dying to get a Beatles Vid for sometime and this was my first toe in the water. This volume takes us through the Rubber Soul and Revolver period and controversy wherever they went. This is history. It gives a fascinating insight into and view of something that is unlikely to ever be repeated. Watching this gave me some idea just how famous the Beatles were. Just watch a couple of minutes from the Shea Stadium concert footage, it is beyond belief. Complusive viewing with the music from their most productive period. The editing of comments from all of the Fab 4 with the appropriate piece of film is excellent, fitting together brilliantly. I can't wait to see the other Anthology volumes. What would we have today musically if the Beatles hadn't happened? I wonder. Finally a question. Does anyone know how many number ones in the UK and USA Paul Mc. has been involved in as either writer, producer or musician, does he even know?
