This video is very useful for those who like Delia's straightforward, no-nonsense approach. Particularly useful when used in conjunction with her Winter Collection book, the video sleeve provides a program list with the recipes shown in each program. Also, this list shows how far into the video each recipe is, allowing you to use your video's minute counter to find Delia showing you how it's done, without having to search back and forward using the rewind/fast-forward buttons. Further, the list of recipes on the video gives you the corresponding page number in the book, so the two can interact easily.

The usual methodical approach allows one to either cook confidently without the book, or boost ones confidence when using the book. Not so much a must have as the book itself, more of a helpful add-on for those a bit less comfortable in the kitchen, but the more confident cook could easily use Delia's ideas to warm up their winter.
