This video focuses well on the changing climate of global defence following the end of the Cold War. Filmed during the civil war in Bosnia, this is a series of programmes focusing on the many tasks required of the modern navy. Although rather dry in places, each programme is well shot and all give a good impression of what life is like in the navy, during both peace and war. Recommended for those looking for an overview of both naval life and the role of the Royal Navy, but not so much for people looking for specifics.

I think this video was really good it helped me to look into the difficulties of the Navy. I had been thinking of a career in the Navy and this video inspired me to go for it. This video helped me see how difficult the Navy is and the pressures they are under.
