5.0 out of 5 stars A great Documentry, 2 Feb 2002
By A Customer
I WAS A DOCTOR WHO MONSTER is a video lasting 55 mins and is worth every penny.
Presented by SYLVESTER McCOY (Seventh Doctor) the tales that these people have are Funny, Tragic ,and sometimes weird.
These people have portrayed so many monsters
Daleks,Orgrons, Draconians,Yeti, Ice Warriors, Cybermen, Omegas ,Gell Guards, and so many more.
With some Doctor Who sequences played out by some actors, vintage cameras and brilliant linking by Sylvester McCoy take a trip down Memory Lane for an hour and see the people who made us spend our Saturday evenings behind the sofa.

4.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining and informative documentary, 16 Nov 2000
By smithpm@bun.com (Aberdeen, Scotland) - See all my reviews
Presented by the seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy this video lasting approx. 55 mins is well worth the price. It takes us back to the very earliest of Dr. Who stories in the early 1960's and throughout its history interviewing many 'unsung' heroes who had very unpleasant and peculiar torments to put up with to bring us the Monster of the week.

Some funny moments are revealed when discussing exactly how you portray a 'fishperson'...

Some recreations of just how it was in the studio, and how certain effects were made are in this video.

Meet the people who used to get you cowering behind the sofa on a Saturday teatime.
