Product Description

Synopsis

A full-length episode of this classic TV comedy series first screened on Christmas Day in 1987.

From the Back Cover

Despite Rodders undertaking a dead impressive new job, life for the Trotters is far from Kushti. Del's state-of-the-ark computers are going down about as well as bacon sandwiches at a bar mitzvah, while at the market, Uncle Albert's unconvincing performances of lumbago recovery have left the flat knee-deep in x-ray massage gizmos.

Still, things can only get better... At Trigger's niece's nuptials ("only a hyphen or two away from a society wedding") they encounter an old friend of the family - Trigg's Aunt Renee. What she tells Del and Rodney about their mum's old pal "Freddy The Frog" leaves the boys desperate for more. Rodders is eager to learn why this charming villain left all his money to the Trotters and how come everyone notes his resemblance to his mum's "friend". Del Boy is more interested in what happened to the Frog's Legacy - a hoard of undiscovered gold bullion. Are they, at last, about to become millionaires?

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 30 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This is THE most intriguing episode of OFAH ever and really does attract your attention throughout. At the start, it makes for a very tedious episode and for some reason has a dullness about it. Perhaps because the first scene is a lot longer than it should have been. But in the next scene, at Lisa's wedding, after Trigger's aunt tells Del about the gold he is entitled to, this makes for one of the best episodes of all time. Although it's only a small portion of the episode that they search for the bullion, you really are eager to find out where it is. At the end of the episode, when we find out where the gold is, you really are crushed. If you listen carefully, you can actually hear the audience almost groan in agony at the disappointment.

5.0 out of 5 stars ONE OF THE BEST !!, 17 Jun 2003
By A Customer
This has to be one of the best, if not the best episode I've seen of OFAH. It starts off pretty average with nothing special about it, but when you hear about the storyline more, it becomes more interesting and Fantastic!
This is definitely a must buy for all those OFAH fans out there.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Christmas Special From the Great British Sitcom, 19 Sep 2000
This is a feature length edition of OFAH, as OFAH go this isn't one of the best but it still is a great buy. Del and Rodney find out that there is a fortune of treasure lying somewhere for them but all they have to do is to find it! Good family comedy.
