5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon, 15 Oct 2000
By A Customer
An excellent portrait of three 'Peter Pan' characters never quite willing to grow up. The three main characters, Compo Clegg and Seymour are impressively supported by a cast of ever great actors including Dame Thora Third and Kathy Staff.

The Heavily Reinforced Bottom brings Compo close to his pet fear 'water'when Seymour decides to turn him into a canoeist. However a 'Wesley built' canoe proves too light and then too heavy for the purpose leaving Compo adrift - classic humour...

Who's feeling Ejected Then features yet another of Seymours wild and wacky and usually unsuccessful inventions - the car ejector seat. As usual the small and ever scruffy Compo is nominated to test the 'invention' as a test pilot or in this case as 'Executive in charge of testing'. Fun and frollics ensue as Seymore relentlessly attempts to make the seat work leaving Compo bruised and battered.

Jaws features yet another 'strange' invention by the ex-headteacher Seymore Utherthwaite. A waste disposal unit is fitted into his, ever proud and socially upwardly mobile, sister Edie's kitchen much to the annoyance of his brother in law Wesley who has to plumb it in. Meantime Compo imitates Wlly Batty (who is in the Pub) to get closer to the formidable Nora Batty (Kathy Staff). Will this be Seymore's breakthrough to fama and fortune. Watch and See

All in all an excellent comedy trilogy - well worth watching, buying and worthy of watching over and over again.
