As mangas go, this is good. I've seen some great manga and some godawful manga. This is really quite good, if you can ignore some of the worst background music ive ever experienced. Why? Why?! The movies great. Good characters, decent animation, gripping story and it keeps you thinking when its finished. Who was right?? but it really does put you off when you hear this atrocious 80's synth music. It's not even good 80's synth music. Sorry to go on about it. Good film though! Buy it!

Appleseed is the next best thing to Ghost In The Shell (sometimes I like Appleseed more because of it's fast pace) . Appleseed is fast paced action and has an addictive plot which will make you watch this title without any chance of dozing off. If you enjoy Manga , this should be in your collection already, if it isn't, what are you waiting for? Oh actually wait for the DVD release !!! Appleseed features : -Mechs -Action -Comedy -Excellent Animation -Cool car interior scene -Cool weapons -Thrills -Cool first person view of mech running -And many other cool features.

For years i'd heard of this thing called Manga and always avoided it think it would be, well crap i mean how can you get a real story/characters/action into an animated movie? I was wrong, very wrong... I first caught the movie while channel flicking one night and i loved it, a few weeks later i bought it and i havent stopped watching the stuff since.

If you've yet to see one of these gems then all i have to say is buy one, hire one, record one just SEE ONE QUICK
