5.0 out of 5 stars Tragic Heroism and Romance, 10 April 2001
By A Customer
This is one of the best martial arts movies to come out of Hong Kong. Aaron Kwok is as good as he is in 'Saviour of The Soul' if not better. The action is pretty cool. Ti Lung is also very good and so is Maggie Cheung who plays a more maternal character than her usual. There is also some romance - the Barefoot Kid decides he wants to go to school (When the girl teacher is this hot who wouldn't?) - And the ending although very downbeat was still a satisfying conclusion. Anyway if you want a rip rouring action/Kung Fu romance - Get this. It's brilliant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sword fantasy piece, 18 Dec 2001
This film has it all. With flawless wushu and great fantasy goodies, like running up walls and deflecting arrows with their hands and stuff, makes this a one to watch film for any fan of HK cinema.
