5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent documentary of different styles from the Masters!, 7 Mar 2000
By A Customer
This video is a series of interviews and demonstrations with some of the most renowned Japanese Sensei's in the world today. As a student of Wado-Ryu karate, it was really interesting to hear the points of view of high ranking instructors in other styles such as Shotokan, and how their approach compares with the style that I do. It also has an interview with Ohtsuka Sensei II, son of the founder of Wado-Ryu, and Sensei Shiomitsu, one of the most highly regarded senseis in the world today, and some archive footage of Ohtsuka Sensei I and II training together. These three alone made it worth the purchase price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent-but wait. It's being brought out on DVD., 19 Aug 2005
By A Customer
Excellent-but wait. It's being brought out on DVD later this year
by VMA-international. I bought it for the Wado-ryu vintage shots
of Ohtsuka doing sword defence but I ended up liking the hyped
up 'best of' kumite scenes. First class!
