Before CGI and cutting edge Special Effects, Sci-fi stories relied on good scripts. Blake's 7 delivered excellent stories time and again.

This video contains two superb examples of the classic BBC sci-fi series. For the fans 'Voice From The Past' highlighted the mistrust and loyalties which defined the characters during the four series of Blake's 7. Gambit, okay so it may not have fitted in with the rest of the Blake's 7 series but as a stand alone episode is brilliantly funny. Avon's cold dry humour played brilliantly again the comic humour of Villa. Then add to that ORAC a computer with a mind of it's own and considers everything beneath him.

Every so often episodes were made which were just there for their comedy value. Two in particular stick in my mind Gambit and The Harvest Of Kiros.
