5.0 out of 5 stars A great cup final beginning Manchester Utds 1990s dominance., 31 Mar 2002
By A Customer
At almost 3 hours this video represents great value for money. The first match is shown in full and is memorable for Ian Wrights impact for Crystal Palace as a late substitute who almost sunk Manchester United with 2 dramatic goals. But it was Mark Hughes who was the Manchester United hero, his 2 goals , one of which comes deep into extra time, rescuing a 3-3 draw on the day and ensuring a replay 5 days later. In the replay Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson sensationally dropped his first choice goalkeeper Jim Leighton, replacing him with Les Sealey who was on loan from Luton Town. The managers decision was vindicated as Sealey coped well with the physical approach of the Crystal Palace team, and it was young defender Lee Martin whose fantastic goal finally won the FA cup for Manchester United, beginning a decade of dominance in perhaps what was the last ever great FA cup Final.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Wright Final, 24 May 2004
By A Customer
As far as FA Cup Final's go, this has got to be up there with the best. Giantkillers of the semi-final's Crystal Palce, up againest big boys Manchester United, nobody gave them a chance. From 1-0 up to 2-1 down, Palace's FA Cup dreams were fading, enter Ian Wright who was just returning from a broken leg. with his first touch he equalised and then in extra time he scored what we all hoped would be the winner. In the end, Mark Hughes spoiled it with a clinical finish for 3-3, but what a game! The replay was never going to live up to the final and was an anti climax, but has been included anyway. A must buy for any Palace fan, or any fan of great FA Cup finals.
