As the mother of a nine year old daughter who has recently been asked to perform Clara in a production of The Nutcracker, I bought a copy of this video for her to sit down and watch. We DIDN'T move from the television! What a marvellous adaptation with beautiful scenery and the most expressive of dancers. My daughter obviously knows the story of The Nutcracker but even a complete novice to the world of ballet would have understood the story-line and gained a magical insight into this wonderful performing art. This was Bolshoi at it's best......BRAVO!
