Synopsis

A gypsy band encamps on the estate of Count Arnheim and after a series of events Mrs Hardy kidnaps the Count's only daughter. Stan and Ollie have to bring the girl up when Mrs Hardy disappears with her lover. Years later when the band returns, the daughter strays towards her former home...

Stan and Ollie return in this comedy feature about a gypsy band who arrive at the estate of Count Arnheim. among them are Stan and Ollie, pickpockets by profession. the faithless Mrs.Hardy has taken a new lover, who is arrested by Arnheim's guards and flogged. the now vengeful Mrs.Hardy kidnaps the Count's young daughter, Arline who is left with Stan and Ollie when Mrs.Hardy departs with her lover. 12 years later the gypsies return and the now grown up Arline strays towards the castle.... Classic L&H with Very funny moments, especiallly when Stan and Ollie Pickpocket the town's poeple!!!
