Zzebra was originally formed out of the wreckage of two brilliant bands. Terry Smith and Dave Quincey from If joined forces with Lasissi (Loughty) Amao from Osibisa and recruited Liam Genockey and John McCoy on drums and bass, and Gus Yeadon on keyboards and vocals.

The mix still sounds fresh all these years later. It seem sameful that bands like this had such a short lifespan because they were so overworked, underpaid and generally under appreciated. This band is pure gold, check them out. Panic was the iconic album for me but this debut sets a very high standard.
