Brighouse & Rastrick, Black Dyke, Grimethorpe and Yorkshire Imps ... you would have thought this was a good bet for a good box set! Wrong!

This is a disaster of a box set. The recordings are dire - mostly sounding like the bands are playing inside a cardboard box. I've never heard so many split notes from professional players!

I'm not surprised the soloists aren't named - I would be ashamed to be a named player here!

Save your money. Buy a good brass band CD ... not this!
