Forget the video version of Definite Article, this is much, much better! Although Izzard's flamboyant stage act seems to be made for the screen, that recording was of a different night's show, and doesn't hold together as well as this one. I first had Definite Article on audio cassette, which of course I managed to wear out with repeated playing. This CD version is just the same, if not better, as there are no fade-outs for the changing sides. It's is a great one for the car, especially during long journeys, as it's a pretty long CD. But be warned, other drivers will think you're mad when they see you laughing away to yourself. It's not really suitable for kids, because it's got some strong swearing (the vid has a 15 certificate).

All in all, I think Definite Article was Eddie's best show, with maybe Unrepeatable coming a close second. I mean, what more could you ask for? Pavlov's Cats, supermarket queue trolley tactics, Mrs. Badcrumble, mice doing the Italian Job, they're all here!

All with an extra helping of JAM!

P.S. At the end of the CD, make sure you listen out after all the applause, for the encore. It's all about the sex life of salmon. Hilarious!
