This is quite a great album. I stumbled over this in my record store and the guy behind the counter almost through it at me. Green Pajamas play the kind of skewed, somewhat psychedelic "60's" pop that often seems kinda constrained on the first few spins. However after a while it really settled with me. Great melodies, nice hooks and choruses you'll hum to before you know it. Highly recommended for people who like the usual reference points like The Byrds and The Beach Boys. For more contemporary stuff think Elephant Six (The Minders, Apples in Stereo, Of Montreal), but the Pajamas are much greater! Tune in and chill out!

Psychedelia is alive and kicking! A stunning album full of mysterious music, acid drenched guitar, classic American voice and brilliant songs. Swathed in sound textures and addictive lyrics; "She's still bewitching me" is archetypal Green Pajamas, and "High weather Heather" is a swirling sea of sound. The title track is an awesome classic. The album hits full stride with "Swans and Butterflies" and just gets better and better. Overlook this superlative CD at your musical peril.
