For lovers of medieval (or other) choral harmonies this is a good mix of Olde English, French and Latin works. Some of the arrangements bring a fresh and welcome approach to well worn pieces - like the Coventry Carol. On occasion the balance of voices isn't perfect, but over all it's a great CD.

This collection of songs if by no means for the purist looking for a CD of Medieval music. The Babes rework and reinvent the songs giving them a contemporary feel without loosing the otherworldly feeling. The mix of voices are beautiful and I find it's a great relaxing CD

this cd is a good introduction to the baebes music, containing tracks from their previous albums ,most of the songs are in "olde english" and are mostly from traditonal sources interprated in the baebes unique style, great stuff to sit back and chill out to.
