5.0 out of 5 stars it takes time, 14 Oct 2000
By A Customer
It takes time to listen to this. I recommend locking yourself away and giving it a couple of goes. But hell is it worth it! There are some eclectic moments, some uplifiting moments and there are some downright odd moments. If nothing else it makes your brain work, it makes you think, and ultimatley it makes you hum these songs for weeks. White no sugar stands out, there are of course other great high spots, live they rock the place ( admittedly small places but whos to argue) Mr Boon is clearly a loon, but long may he continue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Weird and wonderful, but mostly novelty value...?, 9 Dec 1999
By A Customer
If you liked Inspiral Carpets, you may well like this. Clint Boon, keyboad player and writer with the Carpets, has a spookily similar voice to Tom Hingley, complete with crooning style, but seems more at home with strange samples and spaced out lyrics. White with no sugar and Comet Theme No.1 are highlights, and definitely skip the first track (that's so annoying, isn't it...?)
