"The Waterboy" was a movie about a guy who supplies the water to an American football team and ends up becoming the teams best player. The movie has a diverse sound to it and is a mix of classic tracks by bands ranging from Earth Wind And Fire, to The Doors to Rush , to CCR to John Mellancamp and really this highlights the fact that the album has more of a blues, folk rock feel to it with just a little funk thrown in. The album also calls on some of today's hottest stars to provide contributions and these contributions perfectly compliment the feel of the rest of the album, such as those by Candlebox, Lenny Kravitz and The Candyskins. The album is great and if you liked the sound of American rock at the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties you will love this album.
