Amazon.co.uk Review
This is the album with "Summer of '69", "Run To You", "Somebody" and "It's Only Love" , on which Bryan Adams is joined by Tina Turner, who almost matches his raucous and rasping voice. Like all of these hits--some of them verging on anthems--the album is uptempo, feel good rock with Adams really on form, belting out the lyrics. As ever, he is backed by first-class musicians: the rhythm guitar is excellent, especially on "Run To You" and the lead guitar in "Kids Wanna Rock" is the kind of thing that has grown men playing mock guitars in front of the bedroom mirror. This is American rock at its best.

CD Description
Bryan Adams was played a great deal on the radio in 1984/5;his music was the most radio-friendly rock to have been heard in a long time. Revisiting this album more than a decade later still confirms this; if anything, hearing him less makes you like him more. The hit singles still sound consistently good - 'Somebody', 'Summer Of '69' and 'Run To You' - butalthough he has a clearly recognisable style and sound all the other tracks sound fresh. Adams never needs to top this record as there is enough grist on this to keep him playing live forever.
