5.0 out of 5 stars Bravo and ENCORE!, 24 April 2003

(REAL NAME)
An excellent work of art, written by Boito, none other than Verdi`s famous librettist, however hes not writing the words here, hes doing the music!
A truly wonderful version of the Faust work, I first saw this on television with Dennis O Neal as faust and Ramey as Mefistofele. and it was just a wonderful production.
With no offence at all to Mr O Neal, we have good old Domingo at his prime, wonderfully theatrical , ringing high notes, what more could you ask for? There was a previous version with Domingo, but I am sure you will agree Ramey has made this part his own and will be difficult to imagine a Mefestofeles without him. BUY IT! GO ON!
