This compilation of some of the classic 'Overtures' from TER's critically acclaimed series of Gilbert and Sullivan recordings, needs little introduction. The G&S Operetta's are world-renowned popular classics, performed constantly in schools and Opera House's internationally.

This recording features both the D'Oyly Carte Opera Orchestra and The New Sadler's Wells Opera Orchestra also both internationally recognised and acclaimed ensembles.

The compilation is popular amongst both Gilbert And Sullivan collector's and those wishing for a high quality introduction to the work of one of the most acclaimed partnership's in musical theatre history. Once again these recordings were completed at Abbey Road Studios and produced by John Yap.
