Quality French House Music for Sure, 2 Aug 2002
Having always had an interest in various styles of French House Music, from Djs such as Bob Sinclar, Dj Deep, and Charles Schillings, to name but a few, I felt the urge to try out something a bit different. After reading the previous reviews, I was curious to see for myself what this cd was like. So combining curiousity with the fact that I'd heard some of Rinocerose's material before, I made the purchase of "Installation Sonore". This album consists mainly of quality French House Music throughout, combining deep house beats and bass rifts, with various instrumentals, all mixed in with percusion. There is a couple of tunes on this album that you maybe would n't class as House music, but even so, they are Immaculate in their own way. Its difficult for me to choose a personnal favourite from this album, due to the fact that I have not long owned it, but there is one track imperticular called "323 secondes" which I think has a very catchy bassline and posseses an almost Latin influence of some kind, that will get your feet motivated, no doubt about it. My advice to anybody who has an interest in French House Music, or even any other style of quality House Music, then this album is a must for your collection. Also, worth checking out, are other labels such as Bar de Lune & Pschent.
