I've just bought Dirty Vegas's album. It's an excellent album and I'd recommend it to anyone but all the way through I couldn't help comparing it to Travelator by The Egg. I had to listen to this album again and I just refuse to remove it from my stereo. I've had it for 3 years now and it's still as good as when it was bought.

It's just a shame that that genuine talents like The Egg are virtually unknown compared to the rubbish that actually becomes famous. There is no justice in life.

The Egg have been around several years now and put in an excellent performance at this year's Glastonbury not to mention their roof raising infamous set on Jools Holland's Later show a couple of years ago. Travelator is a dance/funk fusion that was quite simply one of its best in the last decade - the album takes you through so many different styles of mind-melding dance mixed beautifully with live instruments which finally proves that dance does not need a computer.

The Egg are one of the most underated acts of the last few years and have more gas in the tank now with little mainstream success than many lesser acts have had with massive media exposure. Travelator will not disappoint anybody purchasing it - as many of the reviews have shown on here, they are one of the most talented groups making music in a class all by themselves. It sounds as good today as the day I bought it - fresh and invigorating and enough kick to shame the supposed best acts today.

You can't fault this album whatever the occasion. Funky & chilled, it's a supprise why you don't hear more about 'The Egg'. Travelator won't disappoint.
