Album Description
Second album for the Zimbraz label from this popular Gambian band. Ifang Bondi was one of the first bands to mix western instruments with traditional african instruments and rhythms. Thus paving the way for artists like Youssou N'Dour. Unfortunately they never really got the credit for it.
From the Artist
Band leader Badou Jobe is one of the best arrangers of African pop music, in fact he was awarded a Kora award as best African arranger. Ifang Bondi rose from the ashes from Super Eagles and they are still one of the best African bands.
