4.0 out of 5 stars High fuelled rock n' roll at it's best!, 11 April 2003

(REAL NAME)
Electric Frankenstein have been working their asses off for 13 years now and are respected worldwide for their efforts.

The Action High LP, probably my favourite from their extensive back catalouge, is a collection of raw, punk influenced, rock n' roll.

This is amazing right from the word go. Ever felt the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you hear something dangerous? Just listen to the first track 'Action High'. "Some take their action low, but I'll take my action high."

The pace never really stops with this ablum, which I can't say about some of their newer releases, although all are great. It's like the Dead Boys meets Chuck Berry in the 90's. Superb.

'Out There' takes a different approach, although it is an F-Word cover. It comes across just as it should, a typical 80's american hardcore song with a bite by the fangs of Electric Frankenstein.

Bands like the Hives and the D4 should thank their stars that bands like this existed to keep rock n' roll interesting.
