5.0 out of 5 stars A bit of everything, 27 Jan 2001
By A Customer
The very fact that the only link between each artist or song is that it is Scottish lends to the attraction of this compilation. I dont want to skip tracks as each one has it's own merit. One minute Stop your tickling Jock then Baker Street with Gerry Rafferty. Try it with the random play set on your hi-fi!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for Burns Night!, 29 Jan 2006
A superb mixture of traditional and modern. Something for everyone and great for a themed evening to be listened to whilst eating haggis and drinking whisky!

4.0 out of 5 stars Something for everyone, Therefore not everyone's cup of tea, 15 Sep 2000
By mikeydred@mindless.com (Newcastle, England) - See all my reviews
This music on this album has one common thread. It's all Scottish. So you get Harry Lauder and Andy Stewart next to Big Country and Blue Nile. You wouldn't expect them in the same universe let alone the same country. Still thats what the skip buttons for on the CD player. I loved the album but theres a lot of annoying stuff on there , but this is a fault with most CD compilations.
