Well, i think this is a very under-rated album - ok, its not as good as say Friend Or Foe, but if you don't take it all too seriously, then you can just sit back and enjoy it. I'm not too keen on either of the 2 singles that were released (Strip & Puss In Boots), but pretty much all of the other tracks are good quality pop tunes, which are often undervalued by reviewers - maybe they take it all too seriously. I'd like to think this was Adam having a bit of fun, rather than actually thinking he was some great lover-man - maybe this is where someone like Shaggy stole his ideas from - though you can tell that Shaggy actually belives that he is a top lover - makes me sick! Anyway, buy this album, even if its just for the photo of Adam getting friendly with a rather ugly woman on the back cover! Top stuff!

This album is a little drab and unremarkable frankly - not words you'd normally associate with the flamboyant Adam.

In my opinion the 2 singles Strip and Puss n Boots ( particularly the first ) are the standouts. Some of the others are so bashful musically ( if not lyrically ) as to dilute everything Ant stood for - dynamic drumming, swaggering confidence and boundless energy and enthusiasm.

Despite a pick-up ( no pun intended ) on side 2, this is a disappointment.

This is an album unlike Ant before. Some may say it marks the end Ant music as we've come to know and love but it also marks Ant at the pinnacle of his musical career never to be repeated since, though coming close with the much later album - 'Wonderful'.
Some powerful rhythms, a stronger bias to melodies and a consistently clean and tight sound. This is a must for any 80's music fans - enjoy. SR
