Album Description
Philip Wilby is currently one of the most original and prolific composers of music for brass band. The New Jerusalem (1992) was his first composition for this genre and he has since contributed many more titles to brass band repertoire. Much of his output are commissions for brass band competitions although it is a testament to his compositional skills that these works are equally at home be it the contest stage, concert platform or recording studio.
