5.0 out of 5 stars The scarface soundtrack is high grade stuff mang!, 11 Dec 2000
By A Customer
Iv'e never been so captivated by a soundtrack as much as scarface. Unlike a lot of other soundtracks, every song takes you to that place of the film and captures the feeling and excitement of the moment. There is no saying to yourself " was this song on the movie" like other soundtracks. And no more skipping song after song just to hear the one that you like. Every song on the scarface soundtrack is a gem. Strangely, I found the instrumental tracks hold the most emotion. You can listen to Tony's theme, close your eyes and boom, your Tony Montana! Scarface is one of the best soundtracks in movie history. I highly recomend it....mang.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tacky, but glorious!, 23 Jul 2002
By Mr. E. J. Ross "Wowser" (Northern England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I first heard the soundtrack when i obsessively played Grand Theft Auto 3 and i always used to tune the radio to the '80's channel which basically played the soundtrack, then i saw the DVD and loved it then finally bout the CD! The Instrumentals sound pretty amazing, if you've seen the movie - cos like these other people say, you really do know ALL the songs! It brings seedy Miami into drizzly Lancashire and though the songs are really quite dated and quite tacky, they're all really good fun! VERY singalongish stuff this one and VERY CATCHY!

5.0 out of 5 stars The soundtrack is a must own for Scarface fans!, 22 Mar 2002
By A Customer
What I love about the soundtrack is that the songs can take you to the actual moments of the movie. Imo, the soundtrack is up there with the Rocky soundtracks and is a must buy.

Theres a disco-que feel to the soundtack but thats because the soundtrack is 20 years old now. Ive listened to it repeatedly and love 90% of the tracks.

1.0 out of 5 stars One of the worst soundtracks I've ever heard
The music is totally dated - the only tracks of any substance are the instrumentals. The rest sound like they've been dug out of secondhand record shop's bargain bin. Read more
