If you are a child of the sixties and seventies, you may feel that you have little to revere in the rap/hip-hop culture of today. Well do as I did and get your ears around this offering from G Love and the guys. This will expose you to one of the biggest mixes of genres that you can find, without offending you once. The tracks are many and varied, brilliant bluesy grooves, underlay some sharply delivered lyrics. This cd has been constantly on since I received it. Chill out, sit back and wonder at the blend of old ( blues, jazz, funk, r&b )and new ( rap, hip hop ). Great to hear real musicians, playing modern music!

Philidelphonics is an awesome album totally. With songs like ' I want you love' Its very goood luvin music My favourite song is the last one

Soul, Jazz, Rap, and Blues, this album has it all. For late summer evenings sitting outside with friends just chilling. Its seriously smooth, but so funky that you cant help but get swept up his beautiful voice and brilliant tunes. Sexy soulful and fun. All tracks are wonderful, and there are 4 or so blinders - track 2 is a fantastic example of how good an album it really can be. Having heard this one, the previous album is next on my list to buy. And the lead singer is undeniably gorgeous!
