I'm 83 and 'Down the Road Apiece', one of the numbers on this disc, was a family favourite. I still have the (very worn) original
record.The piano is super.We loved Boogie, the greatest beat of all time.There's been nothing to touch it since.Even now I can't sit still whilst listening to this type of music.

It's a pity that modern youngsters haven't been able to experience the musicianship of many of these old timers. Now I have to find Count Basie's 'How Long Blues'.
