After what I felt was a wrong turn in "Seven", "A Ma Zone" mixes the best of the original style of the first two acoustic albums with some much improved backing music (including a more African palm wine guitar style- although there's still the American bass and drums on many of the tracks).

The result is some amazing tracks full of life, and polyphonic harmonies, which you again feel inspired to sing along to. And on my CD liner there are lyrics (finally!). I love the life expressed in "Yepe" which exhorts you to sing out anytime, the hypnotic beat in "Rafiki" (about sitting down with friends), the bounce of the chorus in "M'toto"(which is about carrying yams to market!). The CD bows out with "My Own Zero" a love song to a flawed but desired mate.

this cd was just ok! i liked the main song from it, but the rest of it didn't work for me. if you are a fan of their other cds, you will love this however.
