Clinic are one of the best bands around at the moment and it's a shame that they don't get much coverage...though, admittedly they aren't mainstream. Something they are most certainly is rock n' roll...and this is loud, foot stomping rock n' roll. They have an interesting way (almost like The Pixies but not in the same way) of taking pop music and shaking it by the scruff of it's neck until it falls apart...and then they reconstruct it using drums, vintage guitar, keyboards and the occasional melodica blast - making it sound fresh, fun and intensive. The singer sings in a bizarre child-like voice, delivered with schitzophrenic rhythm and the oddest of lyrics which gives the songs a wonderfully original taste.

Just buy it and see for yourself - finally a modern band who understand what rock n' roll was about.
