The Pixies have been one of my favourite bands for a LONG long time, and i was skeptical when i heard of this CD. How could someone cover the Pixies songs and still make it sound good? Well, sadly, it cant be done. But thats not to say that the CD is bad. It is a fantastic buy, especially songs like Gigantic (my favourite Reel Big Fish cover) and Velouria. Although not quite the pixies, still a cracking CD. And Kudos to Reel Big Fish, may i add, for trying something new.

The Pixies are no doubt one of the most influencial bands from the the last 20 years, and this album gives bands a chance to thank them. All the best Pixies songs are on this disc, and they are covered by some of the best bands around today. Although bands like reel big fish take the opportunity to ruin what started out as a good song, some of the other bands show their true capabilities, and produce some excellent stuff. For fans of the Pixies, this is a must have album. Top Stuff !!
