Whilst this album serves very well as a debut, and is filled with catchy guitar hooks and captivating singing, it is unlike the rest of Kent's back catalogue. This is partly due to the fact that there is enormous energy here which Kent have rarely matched in future outings. However, there is very little of the haunting beauty which make Kent so wonderful. Follow-up Verkligen is better, but this is still a brilliant album which is in a similar vein to Radiohead's "Pablo Honey".
