5.0 out of 5 stars Something for everyone, 23 Aug 2007
There is something for everyone here. The tracks range from marches through hymn tunes and classical pieces to film and TV scores and 'big band' style pieces. Overall a superb sampler of what RM band music is all about. Two of the three contributing bands (School of Music & RM Commando) are two of the five remaining RM bands. The third, C in C Home Fleet, is sadly no more, lost in one of the 'cost saving exercises'! It is this band that makes the greatest contribution to the CD (16 of the 21 tracks), but all 3 bands demonstrate the excellent quality of musicianship that one has come to expect from RM bands. This is a much loved, and much played, part of my collection.
