3.0 out of 5 stars An interesting selection in spite of the 2 or 3 dud tracks, 1 Sep 2001

Were it not for the inclusion of the likes of the Frankie Vaughan and Solomon King tracks (which had me reaching for the skip button) I would have given this collection more stars. There are however some classic sixties numbers here including the witty Urban Spaceman and Scaffold's Lily the Pink, which is guaranteed to have you singing along by the end. A nice touch was also to include The Hollies, 'Jennifer Eccles', whom of course is the subject of a verse in the Scaffold song but it should have been placed on the CD before it and not at the end. All the recordings are the originals and the sound quality is excellent.
