Deepak Chopra's album features the voices of Madonna, Demi Moore, Martin Sheen, and other stars, providing the project with instant allure, while bringing in a little street cred via civilrights activist Rosa Parks and Buddhist scholar Robert Thurman. Chopra would have been wise to hand over his own readings to the other performers, but overall, the album makes a good introduction to these timeless 13th century verses, and the accompanying music is danceable in its own right.
