4.0 out of 5 stars A Guinea-based trip around West Africa, 3 May 2006
By Afro-Scot (Rochdale, Lancashire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
If you like popular Guinean music, you will like this CD. I always enjoy it. Sekouba 'Bambino' Diabate has a lovely, clear tenor voice that is very easy to listen to. Recorded in Paris, the CD is perhaps a little westernised. But the sound is from Guinea, the tracks are varied, and it reminds me happily of a trip around West Africa. I recommend it.
