Very good quality of music, still unknown to a lot of music lovers, but it is an excellent dance music.The orchestra depicts very well the spirit of the composer and his "Russian" colour.
A MUST for ballet lovers, but generally listeners of good music!

I am not a musician in any sense of the word but there are certain pieces of music I enjoy without being concerned or aware of any "deviations from the norm".
I found this CD very relaxing and evocative of the individual seasons it was portraying. To my ears it was an excellent, clean recording and not one bespattering by audience noise. I am one of those people for whom the seasons are different and each in their own way can enfold one without overcoming one.
But I don't find Vivaldi's 4 seasons has that ability - particularly not the early Nigel Kennedy!
To quote someone else "I don't know much about art, but I know what I like"

Looking for music for my ballet class' performance, this turned out to be just what I wanted. Originally written for ballet, these beautiful, short pieces will appeal to everyone.
